Giants Week 6

This one's a bit late. A lot has happened this week, not much of it is good... including the fact that the Giants lost to the saints. Apologies for the tardiness.

As usual, go to www.grammajones.com to see the full illustration.

Enjoy!

High Praise

I ran into Gary Taxali at work the other day. I met Gary a few years ago at OCAD and since then we've run into each other a few times. He's a really nice guy and he always takes the time to say hi and see what's going on. I mentioned to him that I've been doing illustration work lately (when I met him I was studying film) and he seemed interested. I got the following e-mail from him:

Really cool work!  I like "Hungy as a Horse".

Thx for showing me!

GARY TAXALI

It was pretty succinct but still high praise from an internationally acclaimed illustrator and fine artist. Now I feel endorsed.

Check out Gary's website: www.garytaxali.com to see his work.

Thanks Gary!

Gramma got beat

Here's a photo of me all beat up. So nice of my girlfriend to take a picture rather than call an ambulance.

Kidding! Salini Perera did the make-up for Claudia's photo. Both are amazing.

Bryan and Larry... or vs Larry?

Here's some photos of my bud Bryan creating some abstracts. Read all about the process/reasoning on his blog at caughtincandy.com

On a selfish note, I'm in one of these photos! Living with Bryan was one of the most inspirational things I've ever done, he's a demented genius. Check out his work whenever possible.

Aliens!

Here's part of the poster I did for the Fox Theatre's Alien double bill.

Check out www.grammajones.com for the whole poster and other great things.

Also, go to the FOx! It's the best theatre in town. Seriously. Best.

Giants Week 5

The Giants are on a roll! They killed the Raiders 44 - 7.

My room mate and his brothers/dad went to the game. Kevin said it was cool but a little dull since it was such a blowout.

Whatever, next week the tackle the saints for one of their actual challenges this year. Hopefully they can keep the streak going!

See the whole illustration at www.grammajones.com

enjoy!

Giants Week 4

The Giants continue their winning streak.

Once again I had to work on Sunday so I didn't watch the game. Well, that's not totally true. I stayed up late on Saturday to go to Nuit Blanche so I slept in pretty late on Sunday. Then I went to work.

Go to www.grammajones.com to see the entire illustration, though you'll have to flip through weeks 1 - 3 first!

Enjoy.
