Really old stuff

Here's a couple sketches of mine from about 1986 or 1987. It's a very accurate portrait of my father.

I know I owe the world last weeks Giants image, but with christmas prep and the fact that the giants just kinda suck right now I'm really not that pumped to complete it on time.

Outshined

Here's another doodle that became a finished piece. I like it quite a bit.

I'm probably going to have to put the personal stuff on hold for a while till Christmas is over. I need to use my time to get the shopping/making of presents done.

Love Without Anger

Here;s one that started as a doodle. It's been a while since I had time to do completely personal piece. I really like how it turned out.  The title is from a Devo song. It seemed to fit the image as the pink whatchamhoozies seem to be in love and the devil dogs look as though they're fighting. Or something. I bet that's how Rembrandt described his work to people.  As usual go to www.grammajones.com to see the whole illustration.

Week 13

Check these guys out! It's like they're  a real football team!
Now all they have to do is beat philly and washington!

I... have... faith... in them...?

I'm so not sure that they can do it.

Police Cops!

Here's another new one!

This is for an article about too much police presence in elementary schools in New York. I think it turned out pretty good.

Natural Medicine

This is an illustration for an article about Natural medicine doctors being given the ability to prescribe pharmaceutical drugs to patients (which totally negates the idea of a natural medicine doctor, but that's just my opinion). The reason for this is supposedly to alleviate some of the stresses of Canada's family doctors, to lighten their load a little bit.

I like the way this turned out. The background colouring and the pill flowers in the foreground are my favorites.
