Corporate Work

Here's a poster I did for Starbucks. They wanted a basic image that showcases their product. That's what I did. I like this kind of work cause it's quick and there's a lot of freedom. They provide the copy. This poster will be on display in Starbucks stores in Toronto.

Enjoy!

Photo taking

This is Claudia taking some photos in the park near her house. The weather has been mostly awesome lately so we've been spending a lot of time outside. That's all really. Just a nice photo and some nice weather.

Old Fork

This is an image from an old sketchbook. I used to do a lot of collage work in my sketchbooks. I don't anymore. Not sure why that is.

I saw Hot Tub Time Machine last night. It was pretty funny. I'm also excited because I finally got a copy of All God's Children Can Dance. Apparently it's not the greatest movie ever, but it's a movie based on a Murakami story so how bad can it really be? Besides, I like that so far there have only been small, independent adaptations of his work. Tony Takitani was a great movie. I don't think that I'm looking forward to the Norwegian Wood adaptation... we'll see...

Random Portraits

Here's three portraits that I drew really quickly while the subjects weren't looking. Two are people that I know and one was a random person in a pub.

Enjoy!

Illustration Friday - Dip

I did this very quickly for Illustration Friday. It's not too conceptual, just a guy taking a dip in a pool. It's just been a while since I did an IF piece and I thought I'd give it a go.

Feedback would be appreciated! Thanks everyone!

cows

Here's some cows. I like the consistent black and white. I sort of wish this was an enormous image with hundreds of cows. Maybe I can take the time to create a much bigger one.

Anyway....

Illustration Mundo

I now have a profile on the illustration mundo community website! Yay!

For anyone that isn't aware, Illustration Mundo is a site where you can view profiles/weblinks to many different artists/illustrators. There's some really amazing work on there. I'm going to be creating my Favorites list by adding at least one new artist each week. SO far I've got three great artists on there!
